With a new vision and mission to ‘bring digital to every person, home and organisation for a fully connected, intelligent world,’ Huawei Technologies Co Ltd (Huawei) is seeking to focus on ICT infrastructure and smart devices.

It wants to increase the competitiveness of its entire product and solution portfolio – including Cloud, networks and devices – and deliver a superior user experience through artificial intelligence (AI) technology adoption.

The new vision was announced at the 15th Huawei Global Analyst Summit (HAS) 2018 held in Shenzhen, which saw the attendance of more than 500 analysts, key opinion leaders and media representatives.

Innovation is the name of the game, as Huawei rotating chairman Eric Xu also shared glimpses of the full-stack, all-scenario AI solutions the technology giant will release at its upcoming Huawei Connect conference, to be held in Shanghai in mid-October 2018.

At the same time, Huawei also released its Global Industry Vision 2025 (GIV) report, which offers insights into global ICT trends and lays out the blueprint for the ICT industry.
