Business matching in conjunction with MIHAS 2018
 03 Apr 2018 18:21
Over 350 Malaysian exporters and 189 foreign buyers from 41 countries took part in the International Sourcing Programme (INSP) held at Menara MATRADE, in conjunction with the 15th Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) 2018.

The four-day MIHAS 2018 opens tomorrow (April 4) at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre in Kuala Lumpur.

The business matching initiative, taking place a day prior to the exhibition, is organised by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade).

Held every year in conjunction with MIHAS, the INSP is a key component of the trade event, apart from its exhibition, where the participating Malaysian companies have the privilege of meeting specially invited foreign buyers.

The INSP is a cost-effective platform for Malaysian companies to meet potential buyers from around the world in the comfort of their home country.

According to Khairul Annuar, director of Americas at Matrade: “The INSP facilitates business matching for local companies, especially small and medium enterprises (SMEs), so they could expand their business globally without having to bear hefty travel fees.”
