SP's Sunway Velocity TWO Sales Gallery is now open

Master Community Developer, Sunway Property, unveiled its Sunway Velocity TWO Sales Gallery which is strategically located at Jalan Peel opposite Sunway Velocity, the first transit-oriented integrated development in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.

Executive Director, Property Development Division, Central Region, Sunway Berhad, Chong Sau Min, officiated the opening of the Sales Gallery which captivated more than 3,000 visitors who were entertained with a 24-seasons drums and acrobatic lion dance performances.

“The opening of the new Sunway Velocity TWO sales gallery marks the beginning of the Sunway Velocity TWO project, an extension of our commitment to transforming how the community in Cheras live, work and play in a safe, healthy and connected environment. Sunway Velocity TWO will leverage the success of Sunway Velocity and continue to cater to the needs of a rapidly growing neighbourhood,” he said.

CAPITALISING ON SUNWAY VELOCITY’S SUCCESS

Sunway Velocity is the first transit-oriented integrated development in Cheras, and capitalizes on the neighbourhood’s strategic location which is a mere 3.8 kilometres from the KL City Centre and has a catchment of 1.72 million within a 20-minute drive.

Collectively, Sunway Velocity’s residential developments has garnered a 98% take-up rates, and 100% take up rates for its commercial units. Sunway Velocity Mall currently has an occupancy rate of 100% and attracts 18 million visitations annually. The newly opened Sunway Velocity Hotel currently has hit an occupancy rate of 72% year to date. A 240-bed Sunway Medical Centre is currently being built and will begin operations in the middle of next year. Sunway College, located within the development, will start operation in second quarter of 2019. As the largest stakeholder (40% of GDV) in the development, Sunway Property ensures the continuous growth of the community in Sunway Velocity.

Sunway Velocity is powered by Sunway’s sustainable build-own-operate business model which has transformed Sunway City from mining wastelands into a socio-economic value generator. With a GDV of RM 2 billion, Sunway Velocity integrates residential, commercial, retail, education, hospitality and healthcare components which are connected through a boulevard, with a 2-acre green park.

RM 2 BILLION SUNWAY VELOCITY TWO TO BE A GREEN RE GOLD CERTIFIED DEVELOPMENT
The RM 2 billion GDV (gross development value) Sunway Velocity TWO which is located on an adjacent 8.45 acres of land, will be a Green RE Gold-certified development which integrates energy efficient and motion sensors lighting, rainwater harvesting and electrical vehicle charging area. The development will comprise four residential towers, and two commercial towers.

Sunway Velocity TWO is connected to Sunway Velocity via a covered elevated linkway for secure and safe access to the facilities and amenities in Sunway Velocity. As more than 70% of the development will consist of residential units, it will synergise with Sunway Velocity which consists of 75% commercial units.

Sunway Velocity TWO’s residential towers will offer practical, comfortable and dual key layouts ranging from 635 sq. ft. to 1,281 sq. ft with an indicative price of RM550,000 and a plethora of lifestyle amenities including an infinity pool, karaoke rooms, panoramic rooftop facilities, a unique tree house and many more. The construction of the first residential development has begun and is targeted to be open for sale this September 2018.

Similar to Sunway Velocity, the transit-oriented Sunway Velocity TWO will be connected to major cities in Klang Valley via major highways and link bridges to the underground Cochrane MRT station, underground Maluri MRT & LRT interchange stations and the upcoming Chan Sow Lin MRT & LRT stations.
